Senior Minister, trevor@ascbelfast.com
Trevor became Christian during his first year of seconday school. A teacher explained the good news of Jesus: how he, the only sinless person ever to have lived, died for sinful people (including Trevor) and that Jesus’ death and resurrection were not just historical facts but life (and eternity) changing. These facts have shaped and changed everything he does.
As senior ministry (Rector) of St Nicholas & All Saints’, Trevor has the privilege of leading the church family in teaching God’s Word, overseeing the various ministries, and helping people grow in their faith and love for Christ. A large part of his role involves preaching, pastoral care, and equipping others to serve in the life and mission of the church.
He is married to Joy and they have five children and one son-in-law. They're grateful to call Belfast home and to be part of a warm, gospel-hearted community at St Nicholas & All Saints’. In his free time, he enjoys good coffee, long walks along the beach with his family, and watching a bit of sport. He also enjoys reading, particularly biographies and current affairs.
Lay Curate (Part Time), kenny.wiles@ascbelfast.com
Kenny was born into a Christian family and cherishes having known Jesus all his life. However, God opened his eyes far more fully to both the truth and goodness of the gospel while at university through godly friends and faithful teaching. Prior to moving to Belfast, he spent ten years in Liverpool where he married his wife, Rachel, became a father to their three children, and began exploring set-aside church ministry.
Alongside his (incredibly exciting) part-time work as an actuary, Kenny's work with the staff team is preparing him for a lifetime of serving Jesus and serving whatever church he is a part of. This includes preaching, training leaders, meeting folk one-to-one, and helping to co-ordinate our Growth Groups. Outside of work, he is a big fan of music, games of any sort, and could talk about Formula 1 all day.
Youth and Families' Worker, richard.lyttle@ascbelfast.com
Richard is eternally grateful for the extraordinary grace and mercy the Lord has shown him throughout his life, particularly being raised in a Christian home by parents who faithfully taught him the good news about Jesus. He continues to be thankful for all the people who keep pointing him to the hope that can only be found in knowing Christ.
At Church he is responsible for youth ministry and family ministry. That means he gets to be involved in a wide breadth of church life from toddler groups, to school work and then youth club. When not at church, he spends most of the time with his wife Kate, and two kids, Isaac and Ella. He also enjoys a variety of sports.
Kids' Worker, eoin.maguire@ascbelfast.com
Eoin became a Christian at a young age, being raised in a Christian home. For many years, however, he decided that he could find all of the rest Jesus promised elsewhere seeking fulfillment in pleasure and things outside of God. After many years Eoin realised when he left school the true rest and salvation can only be found in Jesus.
Eoin works with Primary school children from ages 4-11. Trekkers on a Friday and ASC kids on a Sunday are a space where children can play games, do craft and learn about God’s love for them in Jesus. Eoin also regularly visits schools to speak at assemblies and scripture unions as well as providing a live music programme called Jesus Rockz.
In his spare time, Eoin enjoys being a below average golfer, and seeing every film currently in the cinema. He also enjoys consuming memes at a worrying rate in order to continue being “down with the kids.”
Student Worker, peter.reid@ascbelfast.com
Peter became a Christian aged 6, reading the Bible with his dad one evening. It wasn't until he was 18 that he fully understood what Jesus had done for him, and the good news of justification by faith alone. He thinks this is the best news in the whole world and wants everyone to know about it.
Peter worked as a ministry apprentice at All Saints' for two years, before starting his current role. He now works with the students, organising outreach events, like our weekly student dinners, whilst also meeting up with them one on one to study the bible. His focus is reaching the students in the Holylands area in particular.
In his spare time, he enjoys experimenting with new recipes, reading, and learning how to do each DIY job around the house as the need arises. He is looking forward to studying for full-time ministry at Moore College, Sydney, where he starts in January.
Women's Ministry Lay Assistant (Part Time), kitty.reid@ascbelfast.com
Kitty grew up in a Christian home, and is very thankful for parents who showed her what it means to trust in Jesus. Her family moved house (and country) a lot, so she went to boarding school in England from 9-18. This made being a consistent church member tricky, so she counts being at a bible-based church every week a huge privilege. She moved to Belfast in 2021 to study French, after a gap year in Cyprus working for BFBS.
Kitty joined Unichurch in her first year of uni, after hearing about the free student meal. She was involved with various ministries throughout her time at university and then joined the staff team in September 2025. Her role is focused on female students, meeting up with some to read the bible and with others to explore the Christian faith. She also helps out with Student Outreach and organises women’s discipleship events.
She lives in Lisburn, with her husband, Peter, in an ex-council house they renovated themselves (using a lot of YouTube). They are looking forward to moving to Sydney, Australia in January to escape the cold, wet, dark, winter evenings (and to study for full time ministry at Moore College).

Ministry Apprentice (Full Time), matthew.bryson@ascbelfast.com
Matthew would have grown up calling himself a Christian but didn't really know what that meant or try to find out. During university Matthew decided it was time to take his faith seriously and look into what Christianity is really about and he's never looked back since.
He was invited to Unichurch while at university and has been a part of the church since 2017. He studied Mathematics at Queen's and, after graduating, worked in the banking industry for 4 years. Becoming disinterested in the corporate world and wanting to do something more involved with his faith, Matthew quit and is now a Ministry Apprentice. That involves youth and kids work, student outreach, 1 to 1 bible studies and the occasional chance to preach.
Outside of church, he's married to the wonderful Lois and lives with her in Belfast. He is a complete history and politics nerd and also enjoys spending time on his PC, playing as much football manager as he can.
Ministry Apprentice (Full Time), josh.stewart@ascbelfast.com
Josh grew up in a Christian home and is eternally grateful for the witness of his parents and older siblings drawing him into knowing Jesus from a young age. He joined Unichurch in September 2020. After 5 years of biblical teaching, a wonderful church family, and Trevor nagging everyone about considering full-time ministry, he joined the staff team as a ministry apprentice.
Josh studied Civil Engineering at Queen’s but has decided to spend a year in full-time ministry before entering the world of engineering. He swears that it’s not just stacking chairs and cooking pizzas but actually includes some real work - Student Outreach, kids & youth work, one to one bible studies, speaking in local schools, and whatever else the church requires of him!
When he’s not at church, he likes to spend his time in the mountains, preferably with some friends, lots of food, and in a bivvy bag. Given that the weather (and ministry scheduling) doesn’t often allow for that, he is happy to settle for practicing Historical European Martial Arts where he gets to pretend he’d actually be useful in a world before modern conveniences.
Ministry Apprentice (Part Time), johncollinsasc@gmail.com
John was born and reared in the magnificent Portadown, by his parents who feared and loved God, raising John as such. He counts this a huge blessing and is forever grateful to God for His goodness to him. From no age he was brought along to Killicomaine Evangelical Church, where God’s Word has always been preached and taught faithfully (do visit). He professed a sort of faith at an early age and was baptised at 11. John would say, however, that it was in 2019 at age 15, purely by the grace of God, that he was truly convicted of his sins and drawn, repentantly, into God’s fold (1 John 1:8-9).
At All Saints, John has recently taken on the role of part-time apprentice. He was first introduced to AllSaints via UniChurch in 2022 by his older (and much less handsome) brother, Caleb, who apprenticed 2022-24. John helps at student dinners, growth groups, trekkers and youth. His main roles, however, are in discipleship and evangelism of fellow students, mainly in the form of 1-to-1 bible studies.
In his spare time, John wades through the academic challenges of learning how to throw a rugby ball, studying Sport and Exercise at UU. He is on placement year and is spending a portion of his week as a classroom assistant in Killicomaine JHS. John enjoys carrying around books that everyone knows are a little too complicated for him to be reading and infrequently hitting the gym.
Ministry Apprentice (Part Time), petermcroberts@ascbelfast.com
Peter grew up with parents who patiently showed him what it meant to follow Jesus, and he looks back with deep thankfulness for their faithful example. That early foundation came alive during his university years, when the clear, Bible-centred teaching at UniChurch helped his faith deepen and take root at the centre of his life.
These days, Peter works part-time for the church, spending much of his time with students at Ulster University Belfast. He loves helping them see more of who Jesus is, whether that means coming to faith for the first time or growing in their walk with him.
Outside of church life, Peter enjoys playing and watching sport, reading, and keeping active. He’s the middle of three children, and is eagerly looking forward to marrying Leah soon.
